Abdulai Habibu Mohammed is currently serving as Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Northern Zone) at the Zakat and Sadaqa Trust Fund of Ghana.

With a wealth of experience in the field of international development, he previously worked at ActionAid International Ghana rising from Program Officer, Senior Program Officer to Program Manager. He worked as a consultant to the DFID funded Girls Education Challenge as the Country (Ghana) Education Monitor and West Africa Education Monitor. He also has experience working in the public sector as Assistant Director 2A at the then Savelugu/Nanton District Assembly.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Russian with French from the University of Ghana, Legon and a Master of Arts in Democracy, Governance, Law and Development from the University Cape Coast.

He also pursued professional development courses including Certificate in Public Administration in GIMPA, Managing Humanitarian Emergencies, Training the Trainer and other Training/Courses.

Alhaji Habibu has volunteer experience. He taught as volunteer tutor in Damongo Senior High School- handling French and Literature in English. He served for two terms as chair of the Board Governors of Savelugu Senior High School. He currently supports the Office of the Northern Regional Chief Imam as Secretary to Regional Chief Imam.
