Dr. Shaibu Ali is presently the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Zakat and Sadaqa Trust Fund of Ghana. He was the Former Director General of Islamic Finance Research Institute of Ghana and Part-Time lecturer with some universities since 2020. He is a well-motivated academic professional with intense passion for seeking and sharing knowledge, through edge cutting research and teaching. He is a renowned scholar with his outstanding contributions in Corporate Social Responsibility, Management and Islamic Banking & Finance. He holds a PhD in Management Science and Engineering (Specialized in Finance and Economics) from Jiangsu University in P.R China (2022), MBA (Business Administration) from University of Education, Winneba (2016), and a BBA in Islamic University College, Ghana (2011). He again holds short course Certificates under Islamic Banking & Finance from AlHuda Centre for Islamic Banking & Economics (Pakistan), International Institute of Islamic Banking & Finance (IIIBF-BUK - Nigeria), Islamic Finance Research Institute, Ghana (IFRIG - Ghana), Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology (KNUST - Ghana).  He has a firm background in Islamic Theology from Hamdaniyya Islamic School in Accra, Ghana. He teaches courses both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in areas including Business Finance,  Managerial Economics, Research Methods, Statistics,  International Banking and Finance, Public Finance, Islamic Commerce, Islamic Banking, Investment Analysis, General Commercial Banking and Finance, Advanced Quantitative and Qualitative Research, Corporate Finance Theory, Venture Capital & Finance of Innovation, Monetary Economics & The Global Economy, Government Regulations of Business, Quantitative Modeling in Finance, Advance Corporate Finance, Financial Derivatives among others, as a part-time Lecturer in different Universities.

Dr. Shaibu has several publications in reputed international journals, particularly in the field of Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility, Banking & Finance, Islamic Banking, and Economic Sustainability. Presented research papers at the local and international platforms and conferences. He has successfully graduated a number of MBAs and Bachelor students in Ghana. He has offered consultancy and professional training services on Islamic Banking and Finance to Bank of Ghana, Afro-Arab Micro Finance, and Dunia Microfinance among others.
