DONATION TO TURKIYE EARTHQUAKE
The Zakat and Sadaqa Trust Fund on Thursday 9th February, 2023 donated $5,000.00 dollars in aid of the victims of the Türkiye earthquake. The Board chairman of the Fund, Naa Alhassan Andani, led a delegation to present the cheque for the amount to the Turkish Ambassador to Ghana, Mrs. Ozlem Ergun Uluesen, at her residence in Accra.
Naa Andani, on behalf of the Zakat and Sadaqa Trust Fund management, expressed condolences to the government and people of Türkiye on the disaster that has claimed thousands of lives and injured many.
For her part, Mrs. Uluesen thanked the management of the Zakat and Sadaqa Trust Fund for supporting the victims of the earthquake.
